Eddie, now known by many as ‘Dad’, is the head of the family here at Dad’s Pies. Since first setting foot in Red Beach, Eddie knew this was the perfect spot for the creation of delicious golden pies.
1981 was when the dream became a reality, the first Dad’s Pie was born.
Hibiscus Coast is also home to his family, his three children Mieke, Ben & Tom were born and raised on this sunny coast. As they grew, Dad’s Pies did too, creating the need for a larger bakery. Dad’s
Pies made the move from Red Beach to Silverdale. Staying local has always been very important to Eddie. The decision to join the Business Networking Group was an easy one for Eddie. They provide an opportunity to support and build local Hibiscus Coast businesses, not to mention that all funds go back into the HBCAFC. Eddie feels privileged to be in the position to be part of a group that helps local businesses thrive. Last year Dad’s Pies supported HBCAFC with our fundraising program, helping them sell over 400 boxes, to help raise funds for the club.
